Tutored by City arborists, volunteers will remove dead wood and do structural pruning to rejuvenate <br /> the trees. In preparation for the work party, a Sheriff's municipal court offender crew will provide better <br /> ~acess to the grove by clearing the area of blackberries and ivy in advance. The grove is located on the <br /> II <br /> ~N~Ilar~?ette River West Bank bike path at the end of McClure Lane. <br /> Tools, gloves, and safety gear will be provided. Water and a restroom will also be available on site. <br /> ~4pprdpriate clothing and footwear are recommended. The Volunteers In Parks program suppo?ts citizen <br /> ~nr~olvement in acclivities such as park beautification, litter control, trait development and maintenance, <br /> Wv~eding, and other special projects in Eugene's parks.
