The Lions volunteers will remove weeds and lay down a <br /> new wood border, geotextile fabric, and a fresh layer of wood chips. <br /> "Their efforts will help make this popular site where runners congregate before embarking on the <br /> Adidas Trail to the south a much more pleasant starting point," says Volunteers In Parks Coordinator Matt <br /> McRae. <br /> The Volunteers In Parks program supports citizen involvement in activities such as park <br /> beautii•ication, litter control, trail development and maintenance, weeding, and other special projects in <br /> Eugene's parks.
