Picado, Parks and Open Space Public Information Specialist, 682-4814 or 682-4800 <br /> ~f~R IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> Northwest Youth Corps Crew Bulids New Fence at Washburne Park <br /> On Tuesday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 2, from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., a crew of <br /> ~e ns~from Northwest Youth Corps will be replacing an old, dilapidated fence along 21~ Avenue in <br /> sljbume Park. The new fence will be a split rail style and constructed out of recycled telephone poles <br /> fir the 1940s. The telephone poles were purchased from RecyGed Wood Products, an Albany company <br /> nth t recycles old telephone poles and other logs. Northwest Youth Corps offered the City a very reasonable <br /> ~r a fbr their services, and, if the work exceeds two days, the crew will volunteer their time to complete the <br /> j <br /> For more information about Northwest Youth Corps, call 349-5053.
