Fairmount Park is slated to receive minor accessibility improvements through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), federal funds for projects that enhance access to public facilities. Sponsored and organized by the Fairmount Neighborhood Assocation, the workshop is intended to get neighbors input about these and other desired improvements to the park. The meeting will be held at Laurelwood Goff Course at 2700 Columbia. Robin Hostick, City parks planner, will facilitate the neighborhood-initiated process and provide design assistance for the CDBG-funded improvements, as well as possible future improvements for which neighbors hope to raise funds. Those who are not able to attend can share their input by completing a questionnaire.
