The classes are designed for adults who wish to team the <br /> enjoyment of bicycling for exercise, to bypass traffic congestion on the roads, or for an excuse to <br /> get outdoors more often. <br /> !E~ch free two-hour class will provide information on comfort, bicycle handling, simple ways to keep <br /> tt~e bicycle in working order, clothing, carrying things, choosing a route, and parking and locking. <br /> "Participants will practice simple riding techniques, and take a short bicycle ride. Participants <br /> should bring their bicycles and helmets. <br /> In', conjunction with the classes, the Eugene Bicycle Coalition will offer free neighborhood bicycle <br /> Irides for Ferry Street Biidge area residents who wish to team to navigate their neighborhood <br /> ccamfortably, avoiding many of the busy streets. This is a great opportunity in advance of the <br /> planned closures on I-105 that will cause an increase in traffic congestion on many main streets in <br /> thh area. The I-105 Improvement Project will not affect access to any bikeway throughout <br /> icgnstruction.
