Snacks, gloves and tools will be provided. The site of the work party is just notch of the Valley River <br /> CNent~r on Goodpasture Island Road. Parking is available at the first pull-out after the last car dealership on <br /> .the right. <br /> The project is part of the City of Eugene's Stream Team program that facilitates adoptions of City <br /> v~etignds, waterways and other natural areas by local community groups. The Downtown Lions Club <br /> adopted the Delta Ponds nature trail in 1997 and has organized a major work party every spring and fall <br /> srinc~. The club is committed to maintaining and restoring the trail through the ponds on the east side of <br /> (~oodpasture Island Road.
