Stream Team Coordinator Loma Baldwin and Willamette Resources Education <br /> Network Guide Liz Meyer will lead tomonow's adventure. <br /> This is the third consecutive year that Village School has partnered with Stream Team to teach <br /> students about the local watershed and what they can do to contribute to its health. The program begins <br /> with a classroom discussion about the water cycle. Students then help paint storm drains with the "Dump No <br /> Waste -Drains to Stream message and place educational door hangers in the surrounding neighborhood. <br /> The program also includes several field trips to Amazon Creek and the mitigated wetland behind Amazon <br /> Pool, Fern Ridge Dam and finally Stewart Pond, where the students can explore nature in an urban setting. <br /> Stream Team provides the opportunity for people of all ages to do hands-on environmental work and <br /> team more about the city's waterways and natural areas. f=or mon: information. ca11682-4850 or e-mail <br /> loma.j.baldwin(c~ci.euaene.or.us. <br /> <br />
