On <br /> <br /> i Saturday, June 25,.from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., the community is invited to help build RiverPtay, Eugene's flrst <br /> regignal playground at Skinner Butte Park, one brew at a time at a microbr~ew party at the brewery at 844 <br /> C~liv@ Streak The party includes live bands, raffles, an outdoor barbeque, and more than 30 microbrews on <br /> tap. Proceeds from the event will help Eugene Rotary Club and the City of Eugene reach final fundraising <br /> goals for phase one of the playground. <br /> The Deb Cleveland Eland is scheduled to play from 7 to 9 p.m., Jazz and funk band, Fuzz, will play <br /> from 9:30 p.m. to midnight. Minors are welcome until 10 p.m. For $15 in advance or $20 at the door, party <br /> doers receive an entrance mug, two tickets to try any of the 30 microbrews on tap, and one raffle ticket.' <br /> Additional microbrew and raffle tickets will be available for $5 for finro and $2 respectively. Entrance mug <br /> ppackages can be purchased directly at the Rogue Brewery any time prior to the day of the event. Non- <br /> ~Icahollc beverages will be available. <br /> Phase one of the RiverPlay playground includes a mammoth play replica of Skinner Butte, two <br /> water features, the millrace and the rain circle, which represents the origins of the Willamette River, and the <br /> pioneer village. Subsequent phases will include an ancient history sand dig, miniature Willamette River, and <br /> Kal~puya village. in addition to helping the City raise funds for the playground, the Eugene Rotary Club has <br /> ~Isca pledged a significant contribution in volunteer labor from their members to help install many of the play <br /> components this fall.
