Funding is now available through a federal Community <br /> Qevelopment Block Grant to make improvements to the park located between Acom Park Road and Buck <br /> Street, south of 14th Avenue. Construction may occur as early as this summer. The workshop will be held at <br /> McComack Elementary Library at 1968 Brittany in Eugene. <br /> The 2.5-acre park currently includes a children's play structure. basketball court, and hard-surface <br /> piths. Neighborfiood parks, which serve residents within about ahalf-mile, or 10-minute, walking distance, <br /> can include the following: a children's play area, accessible pathways. park furniture such as benches, <br /> p~cniG tables, trash receptacles, and open space for recreation and relaxation.
