This years prizes include a Fuji Regis <br /> <br /> f~ <br /> bicycle from WheelWorks, a Raleigh C30 bicycle from Paul's Bicycle Way of Life, a bicycle <br /> accessories kit from Collins Cycle Shop, an outdoor clothing package from REI, and two <br /> complete sets of raingear from Burley Design Cooperative. All who register are eligible to <br /> win any of the grand prizes, T-shirts, and other great prizes. <br /> People Powered Fridays is an opportunity for residents and commuters in the Eugene <br /> area to take advantage of our wonderful summer weather and find a fun way to avoid traffic <br /> congestion, save money, and also improve their health and the livability of our community. <br /> To participate, people agree to leave their cars at home at least one day a week during the <br /> summer months and bike, walk, or use anon-motorized transportation option to work. <br /> Free coffee and pastries from Full City Coffee Roasters and Bagel Sphere will be offered <br /> at the three celebrations held on the third Friday of each month this summer. A Fuji Regis <br /> bicycle from WheelWorks will be given away as the first grand prize at the celebration on <br /> June 17th. The June 17th celebration will be on the southeast side of the Ferry Street Bridge <br /> 'near the DeFazio Pedestrian Bridge.
