Glo es, tools and snacks will be provided. Young oaks will be at the center of the planting <br /> ent and will g w to provide valued habitat for wildlife moving up 'and down Amazon Creek. In <br /> ddition, the sh de these trees provide as they mature will help cool the water, improving water quality <br /> f r aquatic orga isms. <br /> he Stream Tea program offers volunteers the opportunity to restore, care for and learn more about the city's <br /> atervvays and atural areas. Improve water qualify and fish and wildlife habitat by collecting seed, leading <br /> ature field trip ,salvaging and monitoring native plants, and tending to native plants at the native plant <br /> ursery. The N ~ghborWoods program brings together neighbors, businesses, and local volunteer groups to <br /> lant and care or street trees. Over 7,000 street trees hove been planted since the program was established in <br /> 1992. Help gr Eugene's urban forest. <br /> <br />
