The <br /> proposed f e for a typical residential customer would increase $1.55 per month, to $19.47. <br /> Th regional wastewater rate increase will help pay for capital projects to expand and <br /> upgrade th wastewater system to accommodate future growth, avoid raw sewage overflows <br /> caused by ainy weather, and meet new, more stringent regulatory requirements to protect <br /> water quali y in the Willamette River. <br /> For the typical medium-size residential home, the proposed stormwater rate will increase <br /> $1.14 per onth, to $8.69 per month. <br /> <br /> ~ Thi increase would support new permit-related activities, enhance the City's stream <br /> corridor ac uisition program, and support street tree and median maintenance work. <br /> Mo information on the fees, including rate schedules for non-residential customers, is <br /> available b calling 682-4900.
