Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District <br /> Servicing Agencv: City of Eugene, Oregon • <br /> Description <br /> gf Services: Under this task order the City of Eugene will provide the stail;• f~ities, • <br /> supplies and equipment needed to collect, treat, gmw-out, store, transport, clean, salvage snd <br /> Propagate native wetland and upland seeds and plant materials needed for the Amazon Creek <br /> Wetlands Restoration Project. Under this Task Order, the city may also provide labor s~ <br /> equipment crews for weeding and other control of nonnative weedy species. <br /> The Corps of Engineer WDI: <br /> 1. Continue to provide management. and funds for completion .of the. Project's Phase I>; which <br /> involves a series of management prescriptions designed to restore. small-scale surface hydrology,. <br /> remove non~sative species, and to plant and treat native plants with the goal of restoring a native • <br /> V~illamette Valley wett prairie wetland ecosystern.~ Phase II prescriptions vv~'li include filling aixl <br /> restoring small drainage channels, fill rnrnoval, removal of reed canary grass and other invasive <br /> species, mowing, burning, plowing and scraping. 'The Phase II work will be conduced under a . <br /> Cooperative Agreement with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Eugene District. Corps <br /> staffvvUl coordinate and schedule planting and seeding activities with City of Eugene and BLM <br /> staff ~ . <br /> 2. In coordination with the City of Eugene, write and.fund a separate contract for nursery <br /> services for propagating and planting native plan materials not provided by the City of Eugene as <br /> descn'bed below. <br /> 3. Provide, via contract rental, a tractor, drill and other necessary implements to seed and plant <br /> native materials. <br /> <br /> . ~ ~ The City of Eugene Will: <br /> . ~ 1.
