September 30, 2002. The Cifiy will provide botanical technical assistance to help <br /> accomplish tho following tasks: <br /> 1. Monitoring Qf existing wetland.restoration sites and establisbmont of a monitoring <br /> protocol on planned a~ad Acvv restoration prof ccts. Monitoring will bo pzixnatily <br /> vegetation but may also. include wildlife and hydrology. <br /> 2. Su~tvaying for and saonitori~pg of special status plant species, including federa:Uy <br /> listed species. <br /> 3. Nabive seed collection under the guidance of flee West Eugene Wetlands BLM <br /> botanist. . <br /> <br /> ' ~ 4. Inventory and implementing control measures for non <br /> native vegetation, on both . <br /> wetland and upland sites. . <br /> . 5. Prepares reports or portions of reports related to monitoring, plant surveys, sito <br /> restorations, and seed collection. . <br /> . 6. Prepares and/or implements Site restoration plans that may include prescn'bed fire, <br /> ' seeding, weeding; grading, fill removal, and planting. ~ <br /> 7. • Completion of miscellaneous duties related #o the management of the West <br /> Eugene Wetland PartaGrship including environmental edt~tion, literature review, <br /> budget preparation, and property acquisition review. Participates as a member o~ ' <br /> the Field Operations Group (FOCr). • <br /> 8. Direct work crews to accomplish botanical related tasks as identified in the <br /> ' previous items. . <br /> <br />
