Contracts 8~ Agreements <br /> No. 20468 <br /> WALKWAY/BIKEWAY PROJECT AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGRE MENT is made and entered into by and between the STATE OF OREGON, <br /> acting by a , through its Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as "State," <br /> and the C OF EUGENE, a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon, hereinafter <br /> referred to a "City." <br /> RECITALS <br /> 1. Amazon Parkway and 24~' Avenue East are part of the City street system under the <br /> jurisdict' nand control of the City. <br /> 2. By the uthority granted in ORS 366.514, funds received from the State Highway <br /> Tnist Fu are to be expended by the State and the various counties and sties for the <br /> establish nt of footpaths and bicycle trails. For purposes of Article IX, Section 3a, of <br /> the O n Constitution, the establishment and maintenance of such footpaths and <br /> bicycle ils are for highway, road, and street purposes when constricted within the <br /> right of ay. <br /> 3.
