CONSTRUCvN PERMIT PROJECT OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY • Post address on construction site before requesting City inspections. • Have approved plans and inspection records on project site available for City inspectors to examine. • Call the inspection request phone line to schedule required inspections. See the reverse side of this permit for the list of required inspections. • Cover work only after inspected and approved by the City inspector. • Obtain approval (documentation) from Permit and Information Center prior to any deviations from approved plans. • Do not use or occupy the building until final inspection and approval by the City. • Request an inspection within 180 days of permit issuance date to avoid possible expiration and additional fees. • Maintain completed building and structures, including the maintenance of structural assemblies, devices, and safeguards, up to the standards required by the code edition under which building was built. • Use your permit numbers as identification when contacting the Permit and Infornation Center. 24-Hour Automated Inspection Request Phone Line Inspection requests called in after 7:00 a.m. 541-682-5282 will be scheduled for the following work day. WHEN REQUESTING AN INSPECTION: Your project must be ready for the inspection when you make the request. When calling the automated inspection request line, please have your permit number and inspection codes ready. A User's Guide has been developed to assist you when phoning in your requests. You can pick up a User's Guide at the Permit and Information Center, 99 West 10`h Avenue, or we can mail you a copy. If you have additional questions, call 541-682-5283 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For ease in scheduling, your permit number and inspection codes are listed on the reverse of this form. Inspectors' office hours are from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m., and they can be reached by calling them directly at their desk phone or by calling inspection support staff at 541-682-5283.
