POUC STREET OUTFALL WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT#3984-SCOPE AMENDMENT <br />CH2M HILL will not issue decisions on Contractor claims or disputes. CH2M HILL will not, <br />except as part of Additional Services, undertake comprehensive and detailed investigation <br />or analysis of Contractor's claims and disputes, nor participate in judicial or alternative <br />dispute resolution procedures for the claims or disputes. <br />Project Controls <br />CH2M HILL may provide comments to the Owner to assist the Owner in approving, <br />accepting or taking other action on the contractor's schedule, in accordance with the <br />contract for construction. <br />CH2M HILL's review and comments shall not be considered as a guarantee or confirmation <br />that the Contractor wilt complete the work in accordance with the contract for construction. <br />Contractor's Schedule Updates: CHUM HILL may review the Contractor's periodic schedule <br />updates or other schedule submissions. If a review is requested, CH~Nt HILL will provide <br />comments to the Owner regarding the updates or other submissions. <br />Effect of Change Orders: CH2M HILL may review information submitted by the Contractor <br />regarding the effect of proposed or issued Change Orders upon the construction schedule, <br />duration and completion date. If requested, CH2M HILL will advise the Owner as to the <br />potential impact of proposed or issued Change Orders. CH2M HILL may assist the Owner <br />in discussions with the Contractor concerning the potential impact of proposed or issued <br />Change Orders. <br />Field Inspection <br />Independent Testing, Inspection and Survey Services: CHZM HILL may review the reports <br />and other information prepared by the independent firms that are provided to the Owner. <br />CH2M HILL shall not be responsible for the accuracy or completeness of the work and <br />reports of the independent testing, inspection and survey firms. <br />Review of Work: CH2M HILL may, upon Owner's request, conduct on-site observations of <br />the Contractor's work for the purposes of determining if the work generally conforms to the <br />contract for construction and that the integrity of the design concept as reflected in the <br />contract for construction has been implemented and preserved by the Contractor. <br />CH2M HILL's observation of the work is not an exhaustive observation or inspection of all . <br />work performed by the Contractor. CH2M HILL does not guarantee the performance of the <br />Contractor. CH2M HILL's observations shall not relieve the Contractor from responsibility <br />for performing the work in accordance with the contract for construction, and CH2M HILL <br />shall not assume liability in any respect for the construction of the project.. <br />Deficient and Non-conforming Work: Should CH2M HILL discover or believe that any <br />work by the Contractor is not in accordance with the contract for construction, or is <br />.otherwise defective, or not conforming to requirements of the contractor applicable rules <br />and regulations, CH2M HILL will bring this to the attention of the Owner. <br />Design Team Visits: CH2M HILL may, upon Owner's request, coordinate visits to the site <br />by the design team members to review progress and quality of the work. The visits shall <br />observe the general quality of the work at the time of the visit and review any specific items <br />
