Cortez + <br /> Subject: Echo Hollow Pool Projects <br /> Renee, Tim, <br /> Good News: <br /> I talked with Mike Penwell this morning and he approved funding an additional $50,000 from dedicated <br /> FY'O6, B-1 funds to the Phase I Improvements project. Along with $312,000 from LRCS, and other <br /> existing funds, this will enable us to proceed with design and construction of the bulkhead repairs, the <br /> new spa, the climbing wall and the teen party room as a single project. <br /> I will contact RSA and begin the process to establish a contract and begin work. We will need to <br /> proceed in a timely manner in order to take advantage of the month-long shut down in September and <br /> complete the portions of work that will require the pool to be shut down. <br /> I will keep you informed of the schedule for meetings once I talk to Jim and Carl. <br /> I look fonnrard to completing these improvements to Echo Hollow Pool and continuing work with you <br /> and staff.
