The following sects a1s of the Code of the City of Eugene, Oregon 1955, <br /> as amended, are hereby published for the information and guidance of all <br /> persons using the Mahlon Sweet Municipal Airport. <br /> Sec. l~.lt. Compliance with article and regulations required. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to have or maintain an air- <br /> plane upon the airport or to make use of the airport without first <br /> having complied with the provisions of this article and, the regu- <br /> lations promulgated by the council. <br /> Sec. 11.19. Rules and regulations. <br /> The council shall adopt and cause to be made and posted at the <br /> office of the airport manager and at the office of the city record- <br /> er, certain rules and regulations governing the use of the field. <br /> Such rules and regulations shall be administered by the airport <br /> manager, who shall have the right and authority to enforce such rules, <br /> to issue warnings to violators of the same and to suspend or revoke <br /> the license issued hereunder to the plane owner. <br /> Sec. 1<.2lt. Compliance with signs required. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any pedestrian to proceed across .any <br /> portion of the airport contrary to the directions contained on the <br /> <br /> ~,r' various signs posted by the chief of police theron, unless upon <br /> express permission from the caretaker of the airport or, any police <br /> officer in charge, and it shall be unlawful for the driver of at~y <br /> automobile to proceed upon lanes of traffic or to park cars other <br /> than as directed by placards and signs erected by the chief of <br /> police of the city, without the express consent and authority of <br /> the caretaker or any police officer in charge. <br /> Sec. 4.25. Caretaker of airport to have police powers. <br /> The caretaker of the airport is hereby appointed ex officio a <br /> police officer of the city to exercise his authority at the air- <br /> port only, and while at the airport shall exercise and have all <br /> the authority of a police officer. <br /> Sec. 4.26. Delegation of police to serve at airport. <br /> Any police officer of the city may be delegated to serve at the <br /> airport of the city and while so serving at the airport shall have <br /> all the authority and.pawer of a police officer within the city <br /> limits. <br /> <br />
