C IIAI''T ER V <br /> GOVERNMENT AGREEMENTS <br /> SECTION I NATIONAL EMERGENCY <br /> 1. !During time of war or national emergency, the City shall have the <br /> right to lease the Airport, or the landing area, or any part thereof <br /> j to the United States Government for military use, and any license, <br /> lease, or authority granted under these rules and regulations and <br /> any lease and/or agreement executed pursuant hereto shall be subject <br /> to such Government lease and the provisions of the Government lease <br /> shall control insofar as they are inconsistent with the said operator <br /> agreement, lease or authority. <br /> SECTION II <br /> FUTURE GOVERNMENT AGREEMENTS <br /> <br /> 1, ' Any licenses, authority, lease, or agreement entered into prusuant <br /> to these rules and regulations shall be subject and subordinate to the <br /> provisions of any existing or future agreement between the City of <br /> j Eugene and the United States, relative to the operation or the <br /> maintenance of the Airport, the execution of which has been or may be <br /> required as a condition precedent to the expenditure of f ederal funds <br /> f or the development of the Mahlon Sweet Field. <br /> -29- <br /> <br />
