This authority incluf';~~t tt~e <br /> execution of ontract change orders which are within budget coni:.ir~r~e~tcy for <br /> that contract or project, and are within change order guidelines e(~ Public <br /> Contract Admi istrative Rules. <br /> Based on the bove, the Public Works Executive Manager orders that: <br /> 1. Public orks Division Managers shall be responsible to the Public Works <br /> Executi a Manager for: the initiation, content, award, obtaining of <br /> signatu es, budgetary encumbrance, consistency with local budget law, <br /> filing ith the City Recorder, administration, and compliance with <br /> applica le federal, state and local statues and policies for contracts <br /> which c rry out the programs of their divisions. <br /> 2. All Pub is Works contracts shall be submitted to the Public Works <br /> Executi a Manager for execution. Contracts for amounts over $50;000 <br /> shall b initialed by the Public Works Executive Manager and signed by <br /> the Cit Manager. <br /> <br /> 3. Any con ract submitted to the Public Works Executive Manager for <br /> executi n shall have the initials of the Oivision Manager who recommends <br /> executi n of the contract. <br /> 4. The Cit Engineer and Airport Manager shall have the authority to <br /> execute change orders for construction contracts which are within budget <br /> conting ncy for that contract or project, and are within change order <br /> - guideli es of the Public Contract Administrative Rules.
