Section 5.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971 concerning snow emergencies <br /> requires t e City Manager or designee to cause a notice of the City's snow emergency <br /> provisions f the Eugene Code, 1971 to be published in a newspaper of general circulation <br /> within the City during the month of October of each year. The notice is to include: <br /> 1. A map indicating priority one, priority two, and priority three routes; <br /> 2. A list of conditions under which a snow emergency will automatically <br /> exis ; <br /> 3. A list of what stations will be broadcasting snow emergency <br /> dec arations and other updates; <br /> 4. A statement that parking is not permitted along priority routes; and <br /> S. Notice of the City's ability to tow cars parked or stranded in violation <br /> of ction 5.677 to 5.687 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> B. Section 5.686 of the Eugene Code, 1971, concerning snow emergencies <br /> specificall authorizes the City Manager or designee to review and change the priority of <br /> roadways r add roadways to the snow emergency route map, and requires that notice <br /> thereof be published in a newspaper of general circulation within the City in conformity <br /> with Secti n 5.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> C. Based on recommendations received from the Maintenance Director of the <br /> City's Pub 'c Works Department I reviewed and made changes to the snow emergency <br /> route map and caused notice as required by Section 5.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971 to <br /> be publish d in the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City on <br /> October 2 , 1991.
