ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For the East Side of Orchard Street <br /> To Include All Addresses From 1567 Through 1678 <br /> The raffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. Residential Permit Pazking Zones Regulations Administrative Rule R-5.040 provides that <br /> the designati n of or removal of such permit parking zones be effected by administrative order of the <br /> City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On August 24, 1992, the City received an application signed by over 50% of the adjacent <br /> property own rs and tenants for designating a residential permit pazking zone for all addresses from 1567 <br /> through 1678 Orchard Street. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit pazking zone was given to <br /> property ow ers and tenants within the affected azea of the proposed zone. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity with the policies, <br /> regulations d criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> ~Ir Bas upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in Administrative Rule <br /> R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br /> 1. The following described area is hereby established as a residential permit parking zone: <br /> The one block section along the east side of Orchazd Street beginning at 1567 and ending <br /> with 1678 Orchazd Street. <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public parking between 9:00 <br /> a.m. and 3: p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except Zone A permitted <br /> vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone designated herein may <br /> apply fora one A permit entitling the holder thereof to preferential long-term parking at Zone A signed <br /> parking are within the designated zone. <br /> 4.
