<br /> i <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-93-20-F <br /> ~ of the <br /> City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> ESTABLISHING TREE PRESERVATION FEES <br /> The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. Sections 2.020 and 6.300 to 6.330 of the Eugene Code, 1971 authorize the City <br /> Manager t determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, <br /> goods, use of municipal property, licenses and permits, and specifically the City's tree <br /> preservati n permit process. <br /> B. In accordance with the procedures set forth therein, on October 15, 1993 I " <br /> notified th Mayor and City Councilors that I intended to establish fees for processing tree <br /> felling app ications, and for appeals therefrom, as set forth in the Notice of Intended Fees <br /> attached a Exhibit A thereto and incorporated therein by reference. The Notice was also <br /> I, posted at o locations at City Hall on October 15, 1993, published in the Register Guard <br /> on Octobe 17, 1993, and made available for inspection by interested persons at the office <br /> of the Ci Manager. The Notice provided that written comments would be received <br /> thereon fo a period of 15 days from the first date of posting and publication. No written <br /> comments ere received within the time or in the manner provided in the Notice. <br /> C. I find that the fees hereinafter set forth are consistent with applicable policies <br /> and direct ves of the City Council, including policies developed through the Eugene <br /> L Decisions rocess, are based on the City's estimation of the costs associated with performing <br /> the service ,and are necessary in order to recover those costs from the beneficiaries of the <br /> services. <br /> On he basis of these findings, I order that the following fees for Tree Preservation <br /> Services ar hereby established: <br /> Tree Preservation Services <br /> Schedule of Fees <br /> Pe it a lication fee: <br /> 1 - 10 trees to be felled, no public notice <br /> I, or comment period required $ 50.00 <br /> 1 - 10 trees to be felled, public notice <br /> and comment period required $125.00 <br /> 11 - 50 trees to be felled $275.00 <br /> 51 trees to be felled $475.00 <br /> Ap eal fee $700.00 <br /> ~i <br /> Administ tive Order - 1 <br /> I <br /> <br />
