<br /> I <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For The East Side of Lawrence Street <br /> North From W 8th Avenue to the Mid-Block Alley <br /> i <br /> The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulatio s, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones wou d be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On November 15, 1993, the City received an application signed by over <br /> 50~ of th adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> permit pa king zone for the east aide of Lawrence Street between W 8th Avenue and <br /> the mid-b ock alley to the north. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was iven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed one. <br /> i <br /> ~ D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the olicies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> <br /> i <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br /> i <br /> Bas d upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Adminiatr tive Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> ~ that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking z ne: <br /> <br /> j The one-half block section of Lawrence Street on the east side <br /> between W 8th Avenue and the mid-block alley to the north. <br /> <br /> i~ <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking b tween 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holidays nd except Zone E permitted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> <br /> j designate herein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> preferent al long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the <br /> designate zone. <br /> <br /> j 4.
