ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> ' of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For The North Side of W 8th Avenue <br /> Between Lincoln Street and Lawrence Street <br /> The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulatio s, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones wou d be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On November 15, 1993, the City received an application signed by over <br /> 50$ of th adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> permit pa king zone for the north side of W 8th Avenue between Lincoln and <br /> Lawrence treets. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was iven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed one. <br /> ~ D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> ~ with the licies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> ~ NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Bas d upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administr tive Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> <br /> II ~ <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking z ne: <br /> The one block section of W 8th Avenue on the north side between <br /> Lincoln and Lawrence Streets. <br /> <br /> I, <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> <br /> ~ parking b tween 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holidays nd except Zone E permitted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> <br /> ~ designate herein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> <br /> j preferent al long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the <br /> designate zone. <br /> 4.
