/ . <br /> / NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAKING <br /> <br /> ~ PROPOSED TRAFFIC DIVERTER PROCEDURE <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-5.445TD <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in Section <br /> 2.019 of the Eugene Code, 1971, Micheal D. Gleason, City Manager of the City of Eugene, <br /> Oregon, intends to adopt as a permanent rule the Proposed Traffic Diverter Procedure <br /> Administrative Rule R-5.045TD adopted by the City Manager on _ ~ o,,; l 29 , 1994, <br /> which: <br /> Prescribes the policy and procedures for installation or removal of <br /> traffic diverters on local streets; establishes application and review procedures, <br /> including criteria for evaluation of requests; notice and hearing requirements; <br /> and appeal procedures. <br /> The proposed Traffic Diverter Procedure Administrative Rule R-5.045TD is necessary <br /> in order to ensure that the City's process for installation and removal of traffic diverters <br /> affords interested persons an opportunity to participate in the process and that standards <br /> be established for evaluation of proposals to install or remove traffic diverters. A copy of <br /> the proposed rule may be reviewed at the office of the City Traffic Engineer, 858 Pearl <br /> Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday <br /> through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br /> All persons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their <br /> comments or objections to the City Traffic Engineer, Public Works Department, 858 Pearl <br /> Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, in writing, within fifteen (15) days from the date of the first <br /> publication hereof, as indicated below. The City'Manager will thereafter adopt the Proposed <br /> Traffic Diverter Procedure Administrative Rule R-5.045TD as a Permanent Rule, as <br /> proposed, or as modified in response to comments received. <br /> MICHEAL D.
