NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAKING <br /> ADOPTION OF PARKING SPACE RENTAL PERMIT ADMINISTRATIVE RULE <br /> R-5.350 <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Sections 2.019 and 5.350 of the Eugene Code, 1971, Micheal D. Gleason, City Manager <br /> of the City of Eugene, intends to adopt as a permanent rule the Proposed Parking <br /> Space Rental Permit Administrative Rule R-5.350 adopted by the City Manager on <br /> Z$, 1994, which: <br /> Sets forth the purpose and intent of the Rule to provide further <br /> detail for the processing of parking space rental permit applications; <br /> designates parking space rental permit use areas; establishes guidelines <br /> for placement and use of permits; sets forth the hours during which <br /> permits may be used; criteria for exceptions; and the manner in which <br /> decisions may be appealed. <br /> The Proposed Parking Space Rental Permit Administrative Rule R-5.350, is <br /> necessary for the preservation of the safety and welfare of the public, and may be <br /> reviewed at the office of the City Manager, City Ha11, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, <br /> Oregon 97401 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through <br /> Friday, excluding holidays). <br /> All persons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their <br /> comments or objections to the City Manager, at the address indicated above, in writing, <br /> <br /> within fifteen (15) days of the date of the first publication hereof, as indicated below. <br /> The City Manager will thereafter adopt the Proposed Parking Space Rental Permit <br /> Administrative Rule R-5.350, as proposed, or as modified in response to comments or <br /> objections received, as a Permanent Rule. <br /> MICHEAL D.
