NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAHING PROP SED AMENDMENT AND ADOPTION OF TEMPORARY VEHICLE IMPOUNDMENT NOTICE AND HEARING PROCEDURES MINISTRATIVE RULE R-5.695 AS A PERMANENT RULE NOTI EIS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in Sections 2.019 and 5.6 5 of the Eugene Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene, intends to amend an adopt as a permanent rule the Temporary Vehicle Impoundment Notice and Hearing Proc dares Administrative Rule R-5.695 adopted by Administrative Order No. 58- 95-16 on Oct ber 12, 1995 that: Sets forth the requirements for vehicle impoundment and hearing notice ;establishes the procedures to be followed at any hearings requested thereo ,and deletes the prior requirement to provide notice to lien holders for ve 'cles impounded pursuant to Section 5.135 of the Eugene Code, 1971. Adopti n of the Temporary Vehicle Impoundment Notice and Hearing Procedures Administrativ Rule R-5.695 as a permanent rule is necessary in order to the continued implementati n of provisions of Chapter 5 of the Eugene Code, 1971 in the most cost effective man er for the City, and may be reviewed at the office of the Public Works Department, ransportation Division, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401 during normal burin ss hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). All pe sons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their comments or bjections to the City's Public Works Department, Transportation Division, 858 Pearl Street, ugene, Oregon 97401, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of the date of the first publicati n hereof, as indicated below.
