° ~ Attachment #4 of Exhibit A

« Administrative Order No. 58-96-06
2.3 Large Volume Users with wastewater discharge greater than 100,000
gallons per day
or existing development with measured or proposed total flow greater than
1 0,000 gallons of water discharged per day, the regional wastewater charge is
e ual to the total amount of water being discharged per day (Total Flow), divided
b the presumed continuous EDU flow estimate, multiplied by the rate for one
DU. The presumed continuous EDU flow estimate (average gallons per day)
r presents the assumed daily flow of a typical EDU, if continuous consumption
ere to occur over a 24 hour period. The presumed continuous flow measurement
i estimated at 600 gallons per day. The SDC charge will be based on the greater
o calculations using either the City methodologies or the can-ent MWMC
qualization Fee charge as directed by the MWMC Commission-approved
ethodology applicable to proposed new development.
2.3 drninistrative Charge
A furthe adjustment to the base equalization charge is the addition of administrative
costs. WMC will incur staff costs for the updating and processing of the charge. These
costs w uld be applied on a per connection basis. The administrative cost per permit is
calculat d, based on estimated administrative costs and future connections. Calculation
of the R gional Facility Equalization Charge is illustrated in Figure 6.
my 01, 199 Methodologies: City of Eugene Page D-6.2
