PROCESSING EROSION PREVENTION AND CONSTRUCTION " <br /> ~ SITE MANAGEMENT PRACTICES PERMITS <br /> I <br /> The City Manager Pro Tem of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. Sections 2.020 and 6.635 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorize the City Manager <br /> o determine and set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br /> unicipal property, and licenses and permits. Section 6.635 of the Eugene Code, 1971 <br /> pecifically authorizes the City Manager to establish fees to recover the City's costs and expenses <br /> 'ncurred in processing applications for erosion prevention permits. In accordance with the <br /> rocedures set forth therein, I therefore intend to establish those fees as set forth in the Notice of <br /> ntended Fees attached as Exhibit A hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> B. I find that the proposed fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with <br /> applicable policies and directives of the City Council, including policies developed during the <br /> Eugene Decisions process; comparable to the fees charged for similar services; and are necessary <br /> t yin order to comply with the Council's directive to recover the City's costs and expenses in <br /> processing such applications from the beneficiaries of those services. <br /> t <br /> t C. Establishment of the proposed fees is in the public interest, 'and required by <br /> provisions of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> i <br /> j On the basis of these findings, I order that: <br /> j ~ 1. Copies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, published in <br /> j the Register Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, posted at two locations <br /> ~ at Ciry Hall, and be made available for interested persons at the City's Public Works Department, <br /> Administration Division, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401. <br /> Z. All persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as set forth <br /> in the Notice.
