~~8-9~=2y <br /> 1 <br /> i <br /> i <br /> ~ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> j~ 'I~ of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> I ~ <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For the north side of East 19th Avenue <br /> west from Onyx Street to the midblock alley <br /> the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> 1 <br /> i <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations, <br /> provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones would be effected <br /> ~ by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> I <br /> B. On December O5, 1996, the City received an application signed by over 50% <br /> of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking <br /> zone for the north side of East 19th Avenue west from Onyx Street to the midblock.alley. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking zone <br /> was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in substantial <br /> conformity with the policies, regulations and criteria'set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> <br /> . ~ Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of EugeDe orders that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit parking <br /> I zone: <br /> The north side of East 19th Avenue, west from Onyx Street to the midblock <br /> { <br /> alley. <br /> r <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public parking <br /> between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except <br /> Zone A permitted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated herein may apply for a Zone A permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> preferential long-term parking at Zonc- A signed parking areas within the designated zone. <br /> 4.
