~ ~
Where the Sanitary Sewer System Charge for a proposed development is based on:
4.1 Dwelling units, it is determined by multiplying the EDU rate by the number
of dwelling units in the proposal.
4.2 Plumbing fixture units, it is determined by multiplying the PFU rate by the
. number of fixture units in the proposal.
Where the Sanitary Sewer System Charge for an existing development connecting to
the sanitary sewer system for the first time, it is based upon the historic winter water
consumption of the development. The existing development's consumption for the
preceding months of December through April shall be totaled .and averaged and the
resulting average shall be multiplied by the rate per 1,000 gallons to determine the
charge.
5.0 Storm Sewer System

The Storm Sewer System SDC is based upon the square footage of impervious surface which
creates the need for storm sewers. The detailed calculation of the cost per square foot of
impervious surface is set forth in appendix E. Using Appendix E the Storm Sewer System
charge is hereby determined to be:
Single Family Dwelling: With building footprint < 3,000 sq.ft. $350.98
With building footprint 3,000 sq.ft. or more $526.47
Per Dwellin Unit $350.98
Duplex: g
Mobile Home Developments: $183.56 per space plus $.109 per sq.ft. of
. impervious area foi other features.
All Other Development: $.109 per sq.ft. of impervious area.
Where the Storm Sewer System Charge is a fixed amount per dwelling unit or space, it shall

be determined by multiplying the amount per dwelling unit or space times the number of
units or spaces plus, for mobile home development, the amount for other features based
upon the impervious area times the rate for square footage. Where the Storm Sewer System
Charge is not a fixed amount per dwelling unit or space, it shall be determined by
multiplying the rate per square foot of impervious area times the impervious area of the
proposed development.
6.0 Parks System
The parks system components that are identified in the adopted 1989 Parks and Recreation
Plan and the components used to calculate the parks system development charge are
generally described as Parks, neighborhood and community, and Facilities which are more.
February 24, 1993 Methodologies: City of Eugene SDCs Page 11
