<br /> ~ ~ t , <br /> 11! <br /> 3.2 Standard Calculation <br /> 3.2.1 Assigned Trip Rate <br /> Except when the City Traffic Engineer has approved an applicant`s election to use the <br /> Alternate Calculation method the City Traffic Engineer sha(I assign the trip rate to the <br /> j proposed development using the classifications in 3.2.2 below. <br /> I <br /> j 3.2.2 Trip Generation Rates <br /> i <br /> When using Attachment 1, which is hereby incorporated in this Appendix C by this <br /> reference, to deterrrtine the trip rate to be assigned to the proposed development, the <br /> City Traffic Engineer shall apply the description which most nearly describes the type <br /> of development proposed by the applicant. If the proposed development is not <br /> represented on Attachment 1, the City's Traffic Engineer will determine the rate. <br /> 3.3 Alternate Calculation <br /> Any person required to pay a transportation SDC may elect to have the SDC calculated using <br /> a tri rate for the ro osed develo ment determined as rovided in this Para rah 3 <br /> 3. . <br /> P P P P <br /> P 9 <br /> P <br /> 3.3.1 Existing Traffic Study Standards <br /> If an applicant provides previously performed traffic studies that meet the standards in <br /> this paragraph which are approved by the City Traffic Engineer, the trip rate based upon. <br /> those studies may be used to calculate the transportation SDC. Except that the studies <br /> may come from geographic locations other than those listed in paragraph 3.3.3.3, the <br /> studies shall meet the standards set in paragraph 3.3.3 and shall not be more than ten <br /> years old. <br /> 1 <br /> 3.3.2 Independent Traffic Study <br /> If an applicant does not want to use the trip generation rates in paragraph 3.2 nor to <br /> have the rate determined under paragraph 3.3.1, with the prior written approval of the <br /> City Traffic Engineer by complying with the standards in paragraph 3.3.3 below the <br /> applicant may conduct an independent survey of the proposed development's trip <br /> generation rate. <br /> 3.3.3 Transportation Traffic Study.
