~~a <br /> ~ - 03 <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Sstablishiag a Residential Pera?it Parking Zone <br /> For the west aide of Lawrence Street, 764-798 <br /> The Traffic 8ngineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations, <br /> <br /> provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones would be effected <br /> by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. iOn March 11, 1997, the City received an application signed by over 50~ of <br /> th~ adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking zone <br /> fo~ the half block on the west side of Lawrence Street, from 764 through 798. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking zone <br /> wa~ given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone. <br /> D. 'The. proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity with <br /> t policies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Based ',upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> A inistrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br /> 1. ,The area described is hereby established as a residential permit parking <br /> z ne: <br /> 'The west side of Lawrence Street from 764 through 798. <br /> 2. 'The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public parking <br /> b tween 7:00 z.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except <br /> Z ne E permuted vehicles. <br /> 3. ,Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> d signated herein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> p eferential'',long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the designated zone. <br /> 4.Permit applications shall be processed as provided in Administrative Rule <br /> R 5.040.
