S8- 9?-as~ <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregoa <br /> 8atablishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For the west aide of Harris Street between E 20th and E 21st Avenues <br /> The Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones Regulations, <br /> <br /> prpvides that ''the designation of or removal of such permit parking zones would be effected <br /> <br /> by'',administra,tive order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On March 3, 1997, the City received an application signed by over 50~ of the <br /> adryacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit parking zone <br /> for the west ;side of Harris Street between E 20th and E 21st Avenues. <br /> C. !iNotice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking zone <br /> was given to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the proposed zone. <br /> D. ,The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity with <br /> the policies,' regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,' <br /> Based ',upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit parking <br /> zokie <br /> The west side of Harris Street between E 20th and E 21st Avenues. <br /> 2. 'The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public parking <br /> between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays and except <br /> Zolne A permiY~ted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated herein may apply for a Zone A permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> prjeferential long-term parking at Zone A signed parking areas within the designated zone. <br /> 4.
