NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT <br /> OF MWMC PROVISIONS OF SYSTEMS <br /> DEVELOPMENT CHARGE METHODOLOGIES <br /> o: The Mayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020, 7.705, <br /> d 7.710 of the Eugene, Code, 1971, the City Manager of the City of Eugene intends to amend <br /> e MWMC Provisions of the Systems Development Charge Methodologies by: <br /> (1) Redefining the MWMC SDC as a combined reimbursement fee and improvement fee; <br /> (2) adding and defining a flow estimation units (FEin category; (3) establishing a process <br /> for reviewing the capital improvement program and calculating the SDC fees to be charged <br /> when a large volume user connects to the system; resulting in revisions to the Table of <br /> Contents, Table 1 on page 3, Figure 1 on page 5, Section 4.2 starting on page 7, Table <br /> 2 on page 15, Appendix B on pages B-1 and B-2, Appendix D on pages D-6 through D- <br /> 10, and Appendix G on pages G-3 through G-5; and {4) revising the title and paragraph <br /> 1 of the text of Section 2.4 on page 6 by inserting the phrase "City of Eugene" to clarify <br /> it references expending City of Eugene SDC's, all as set forth in the attachments hereto, <br /> which shall be available for inspection at the Eugene City Hall, Public Works Building <br /> Lobby, Permit and Information Center Lobby, and the Eugene Public Library. <br /> The proposed revisions to the Methodology and the fees are consistent with adopted <br /> olicies of the City and MWMC, in conformity with City ordinances and state law, and should <br /> e implemented. effective July 7, 1997, and any Administrative Orders in conflict therewith <br /> pealed. <br /> Persons desiring to comment hereon may submit written comments to the City Engineer, <br /> blic Works Department, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon, within 30 days from the first date <br /> f publication and posting as indicated hereon.
