The Regional Wastewater SDC is determined by multiplying the applicable FEU
rate per nit of measure for a speafic land use type, by the units of measure for the proposed
_ develop ent. The Regional Wastewater system Cost of Service formula per unit of
develop ent can be found in Appendix D. The Regional Wastewater SDC rates can be found
in the cu ent adopted fee schedule in Appendix G.
The Re Tonal Wastewater SDC Methodology provides that a review of the Capital
Improve ent Plan (CIP) will be initiated at such time as any single development with an
anticipat d discharge of 100,000 gallons per day or more applies for a building permit or for
connecti n to the system. The purpose of this review is to determine if the demand placed on
the regio al system by that new user will require a change in the timing of future capital
projects at will impact the amount of the Regional SDC. If this occurs, the improvement fee
portion f the charge will be modified to reflect the value of the new schedule of capacity
increasin improvements, and the modified fee will be applied to the development that caused
the need for the modification and to all future development.
0 Stonmw er System
J ly 7, 1997 City of Eugene SDC Methodology Page 8
