These special provisions will be <br /> ii, ted on the a proved permit and will then supplement or supersede the Standard <br /> pecifications. <br /> i <br /> ' ~.B TECHNI AL PROVISIONS (PLACEMENT OF FACILITIES) <br /> II construction and maintenance work performed by the permittee shall be done in a <br /> anner design d to leave all areas in which work was performed in a condition as near as <br /> ~ p ssible, if not etter, to that which existed before such work began. For purposes of convenience <br /> a~d clarificatio ,key provisions are supplemented and/or applied as follows: <br /> 1 While pri ate citizens may be issued a permit to perform work within the public way, <br /> onl iic nced bonded contractors ma erform work which involves the <br /> removal of street or alle avement or which re uires the use of traffic <br /> ~ control evices. <br /> 2 All unde round pipes and conduits in the public way shall be laid a minimum depth <br /> of 30 inc es below street or alley grade and 30 inches below ground level in public <br /> I utility ea ements, unless otherwise approved by the City Manager or designee.
