NOTICE OF INTENDED RULEMAKING <br /> I <br /> i <br /> ~ P OPOSED AMENDMENT OF APPENDIX A OF INDUSTRIAL <br /> P ETREATMENT PROGRAM ADMINISTRATIVE RULE R-6.463 <br /> NOTI EIS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the authority contained in Sections <br /> 2.018(5), 2.0 9 and 6.501 to 6.596 of the Eugene Code, 1971, I intend to amend Appendix <br /> A of Industri I Pretreatment Program Administrative Rule R-6.463 to: <br /> t <br /> Increase the penalties for some violations; adjust other penalties based on <br /> prior a perience in administering the enforcement program; add a new provision for <br /> Polluti n Management Practices; and reformat the Enforcement Response Guide <br /> to faci itate its readability, as more particularly set forth in Appendix A attached <br /> heret . <br /> f <br /> i <br /> The p oposed amendments are consistent with the directions of the City Council, <br /> and are nece sary in order to recover the City's costs associated with monitoring the City's <br /> industrial pr reatment program and achieving compliance therewith by industria! users. <br /> ~ The propose amendments may be reviewed at the office of the City Manager, City Hall, <br /> 777 Pearl Str et, Eugene, Oregon 97401 during normal business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 <br /> i <br /> M p.m. Monda through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br /> <br /> rrr? I All p rsons wishing to comment thereon or object thereto must submit their <br /> comments o objections to the City Manager, City Hall, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon <br /> 97401, in w iting, within fifteen (15) days of the date of the first publication hereof, as <br /> indicated bel w.
