coa <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER N0.58-97-20 <br /> of the <br /> , Maintenance Division Director <br /> Public Works Department <br /> City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> AMENDING THE CITY'S SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTE MAP, <br /> AND REPEALING ADMINISTRATNE ORDER N0.58-91-11. <br /> The M intenance Division Director of the Public Works Department of the City <br /> of Eugene fi ds that: <br /> A. Section 5.684 of the Eugene Code, 1971 conceming snow emergencies <br /> requires the ity Manager or designee to cause a notice of the City's snow emergency <br /> provisions of he Eugene Code, 1971 to be published in a newspaper of general circulation <br /> within the Ci during the month of October of each year. The notice is to include: <br /> 1. A map indicating priority one, priority two, and priority three routes; <br /> 2. A list of conditions under which a snow emergency will automatically <br /> exist; <br /> 3. A list of what stations will be broadcasting snow emergency <br /> <br /> ~,r? declar tions and other updates; <br /> 4. A statement that parking is not permitted along priority routes; and <br /> 5. Notice of the City's ability to tow cars parked or stranded in violation <br /> of se ion 5.677 to 5.687 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> B. Section 5.686 of the Eugene Code, 1971, concerning snow emergencies <br /> specifically a thorizes the City Manager or designee to review and change the priority of <br /> roadways or dd roadways to the snow emergency route map, and requires that notice <br /> thereof be pu lished in a newspaper of general circulation within the City in conformity with <br /> Section 5.68 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> C. On December 20, 1991 the City Manager issued Administrative Order No. <br /> 58-91-12 au horizing me, as the City Manager's designee, to carry out the duties and <br /> responsibiliti s of the City Manager under Sections 5.677 to 5.687 of the Eugene Code, <br /> 1971, specifi ally including the authority to review and change the priority of roadways or <br /> add roadway to the snow emergency route map. <br /> ~i Administrativ Order - 1 <br /> <br />
