ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> E <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For Both Sides of W Broadway's 500 Block <br /> The T affic Engineer of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> `s <br /> I' <br /> ( A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> r <br /> Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> F <br /> B. On January 16, 1998, the City received an application signed by over <br /> 50~ of the djacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> permit parking zone for both sides of W Broadway between Jefferson and Washington <br /> Street. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was gi en to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed zo e. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> 3 with the po icies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> ! Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administrat ve Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> i <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zon <br /> The 500 block of W Broadway on both sides. <br /> i <br /> E <br /> t 2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> s parking bet een 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> E holidays an except Zone E permitted vehicles. <br /> f <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> ~ preferentia long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the <br /> designated one. <br /> 6 <br /> 4.
