Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulations provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On February 4, 1998, the City received an application signed by over <br /> 50'k of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> permit par ing zone for both sides of Walnut Street between E 15th and E 17th <br /> Avenues. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was g'ven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed zo e. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the po icies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zon <br /> The west and east sides of Walnut Street between E 15th and E 17th <br /> ~ Avenues. <br /> <br /> ~ 2. The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking bet een 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> <br /> s holidays an except Zone A permitted vehicles. <br /> <br /> 1 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone (identify) permit entitling the holder <br /> <br /> F thereof to referential long-term parking at Zone A signed parking areas within <br /> the designa ed zone. <br /> <br /> C <br /> <br /> ~ 4.
