<br /> r, <br /> NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT <br /> OF MWMC PROVISIONS OF THE SYSTEMS <br /> DEVELOPMENT CHARGE METHODOLOGY <br /> To: The ayor and City Councilors of the City of Eugene, and other interested persons. <br /> NOTI EIS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of Sections 2.020, 7.705, <br /> and 7.710 of e Eugene,. Code, 1971, the City Manager Pro Tem of the City of Eugene intends <br /> to modify the MWMC provisions of the Systems Development Charge Methodology by increasing <br /> fees for the egional wastewater systems development charge. The Metropolitan Wastewater <br /> Management ommission (MWMC) has completed an annual update of the value of its assets, the <br /> i value of prop sed future improvements, and the value of prior property tax payment contributions <br /> for existing v cant land. These changes are the basis for the proposed increase in the MWMC <br /> SDC rates. ther changes include an update to the MWMC Credit Table and the elimination of <br /> the shopping enter category from the rate table as this type of establishment is more accurately <br /> described by ther categories in the table. <br /> I The p oposed revisions to the Methodology and fees are consistent with adopted policies <br /> I and ordinanc s of the City, in conformity with state law, and should be implemented effective July <br /> 1, 1998. <br /> The p oposed revisions to the MWMC Systems Development Charge Methodology and the <br /> fees (Table 1 page 3, Table 5-page D-9, Attachment 3-page D-10, Attachment 4-page D-11, <br /> Calculations- age G-4, and Section 2.3-page G-6), can be found as Exhibit A attached to <br /> Administrati Order No. 58-98-10, which can be viewed by interested persons at the following <br /> locations: <br /> ~ Eugene City Hall Permit & Information Center Lobby <br /> City Manager's Office Atrium Building <br /> 777 Pearl Street, Room 105 999 W. 10`'' Avenue <br /> i <br /> i <br /> ~ Eugene Public Library Public Works Building <br /> 100 W. 13`~ Avenue 858 Pearl Street <br /> Perso s desiring to comment hereon may submit written comments to the City Engineer, <br /> Public Works Department, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon 97401, within 30 days from the first <br /> date of publi tion and posting of this Notice as indicated below.
