<br /> ~ 58~0htlo~ <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO 58-98-12-F <br /> of the <br /> City Manager Pro Tem of the City of Eugene <br /> AMENDING PLAT CHECKING FEES AND <br /> REPEALING ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 58-95-10-F. <br /> The C ty Manager Pro Tem of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. Sections 2.020 and 9.025 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorize the City Manager <br /> to determine nd set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br /> municipal pro erty, and licenses and permits. <br /> B. Pursuant to those provisions, on June 1, 1998 I issued Administrative Order No. <br /> 58-98-12 pro sing a revision of the plat checking fees as established by Administrative Order No. <br /> 58-95-10-F n November 14, 1995, as set forth in Exhibit A thereto, and the repeal of <br /> Administrativ Order No. 58-95-10-F. <br /> C. Copies of the Notice were provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, published <br /> in the Regis r Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City and posted at two <br /> locations at C ty Hall on June 8, 1998, and made available for inspection by interested persons at <br /> the offices of the City Surveyor, Public Works Engineering Division, 858 Pearl Street, Eugene, <br /> Oregon 9740 during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, <br /> exclusive of h lidays). <br /> D The Notice provided that written comments could be submitted thereon for a period <br /> of 15 days fro the date of posting and publication. No comments were received within the time <br /> or in them er required by the Notice. <br /> E. I find that the proposed revision to the plat checking fees set forth in Exhibit A <br /> hereto are co sistent with applicable policies and directives of the City Council, are comparable <br /> to the fees es blished in other jurisdictions for providing such services, are in compliance with <br /> Section 9.025 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and are necessary in order to comply with the Council's <br /> goal of recov ring the cost of providing the services from the beneficiaries of those services. <br /> On th basis of these fmdings, I order that: <br /> 1.
