Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulations provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> B. On April 6, 1999, the City received an application signed by over 50~ <br /> of the adja ent property owners and tenants for designating a residential permit <br /> parking zon for the west side of Harris Street between E 218t and E 22"~ Avenues. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was g'ven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed zo e. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the po ivies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THER$FORE, <br /> Based upon the above findings, and pursuant •to the authority contained in <br /> Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zo <br /> The west side of Harris Street between E. 2180 and E. 22"a Avenues. <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone A and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking be ween 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> ' holid~y~ a except Zone A permitted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone A permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> preferential long-term parking at Zone A signed parking areas within the <br /> designated zone. <br /> 4.
