S8 -~9-iZ <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Sngineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> or the West Side of High Street South of Cheshire Avenue <br /> The T affic Sngineer of the City of Sugene finds that: <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulations provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> 8. On March 18, 1999, the City received an application signed by over <br /> 50~k of the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a residential <br /> permit parking zone for the west side of High Street south of Cheshire Avenue. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was g'ven to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> proposed zo e. <br /> D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the po icies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administrative Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that <br /> 'I 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> parking zon <br /> The west side of High Street south of Cheshire Avenue. <br /> 2. The zone shall be designated Zone E and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> parking be een 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> holida~~ an except Zone E permitted vehicles. <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone E permit entitling the holder thereof to <br /> preferentia long-term parking at Zone E signed parking areas within the <br /> designated one. <br /> 4.
