ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-99-14 <br /> of the <br /> City Manager of the City of Eugene <br /> CO CERNING NOTICE OF INTENDED AMENDMENT OF FEES <br /> FOR MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT <br /> A D REPEAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 58-94-17-F <br /> The Ci Manager of the City of Eugene finds as follows: <br /> A. ection 2.020 of the Eugene, Code, 1971 authorizes the City Manager to <br /> determine an set fees and charges to be imposed by the City for services, goods, use of <br /> municipal pro erty, and licenses and permits. <br /> B. I accordance with the procedures set forth therein, on July 28, 1994 <br /> Administrative Order No. 58-94-17-F was issued establishing a schedule of rates for <br /> maintenance ervices for sidewalk replacement and grinding. <br /> C. he current rates for maintenance services for sidewalk replacement which <br /> have been in ffect since 1994 should be increased to more accurately reflect the City's <br /> increased sal ry and benefit costs for the employees performing the services. <br /> D. o changes are proposed with respect to the established grinding rate, and <br /> he currently a ective rates for maintenance services for sidewalk replacement should be <br /> mended as et forth in the Notice of Intended Fees attached as Exhibit A hereto and <br /> incorporated reference, and the grinding rate readopted. <br /> E. he fees set forth in Exhibit A hereto are consistent with applicable policies <br /> nd directives f the City Council, comparable to the fees established in other jurisdictions <br /> or performing such services, and are based on the cost to the City associated with <br /> <br /> ' roviding the ervices. <br /> On the asis of these findings, I order that: <br /> 1. opies of the Notice be provided to the Mayor and City Councilors, published <br /> n the Registe Guard, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, posted at~~two <br /> ocations at Ci y Hall, provided to any persons who have requested such notice, and be <br /> ade availabl for inspection by interested persons at the offices of the City Manager, 777 <br /> earl Street, om 105, Eugene, Oregon 97401 during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. <br /> 0 5:00 p.m., onday through Friday, exclusive of holidays). <br /> 2. II persons desiring to comment thereon shall submit written comments as <br /> et forth in th Notice.
