ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. S - I ~ I - I ~ _ <br /> of the <br /> Executive Director <br /> of the <br /> Public Works Department <br /> Delegating Authority to Sign Permits and Other Documents Relating to the <br /> City's National Pollution Discharge Elimination Permit (NPDES) to the <br /> Wastewater Treatment Division Director. <br /> The Executive Director of the Public Works Department of the City of Eugene finds <br /> that: <br /> ~ A. The City Manager has previously delegated to me, as Executive Director of the <br /> pity's Public Works Department, authority to perform the duties and responsibilities of the <br /> pity Manager under the City's National Pollution Discharge Elimination Permit (NPDES). <br /> What delegation specifically included authority to sign NPDES permit applications and monthly <br /> I'7ischarge Monitoring Reports on behalf of the City. <br /> B. The activities to which the NPDES permit apply are administered by the <br /> ! `Wastewater Treatment Division of the City's Public Works Department, and it would be more <br /> efficient and in the public interest to authorize the Director of that Division to perform the <br /> duties previously delegated to me by the City Manager. <br /> Now, therefore, based on the above findings, which are hereby adopted, <br /> i <br /> The Executive Director of the Public Works Department of the City of Eugene Orders <br /> ~ ghat: <br /> i'; <br /> j 1. The duties, responsibility and authority delegated by the City Manager to me as <br /> executive Director of the Public Works Department to perform the duties and responsibilities <br /> mf the City Manager under the City's NPDES Permit, specifically including the authority to <br /> sign; NPDES Permit applications and monthly Discharge Monitoring Reports on behalf of the <br /> ~ ~ity is hereby delegated to the Director of the Wastewaster Treatment Division of the City's <br /> ~'uhlic Works Department. <br /> 2. Upon finding it would be more efficient and in the public interest to do so, the <br /> director of the Wastewater Treatment Division of the City's Public Works Department is <br /> <br /> ~ ~peeifically authorized to in turn delegate any of the duties or responsibilities delegated herein <br /> to such person or persons qualified to perform the delegated duties. <br /> 3.
