- S8-9y-l.~ <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER <br /> of the <br /> Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> Establishing a Residential Permit Parking Zone <br /> For The East Side of Lawrence Street's 800 Block <br /> The T affic Engineer of the City of Bugene finds that: <br /> A. Administrative Rule R-5.040, Residential Permit Parking Zones <br /> Regulations, provides that the designation of or removal of such permit parking <br /> zones would be effected by administrative order of the City's Traffic Engineer. <br /> i <br /> B. On September 17, 1999, the City received an application signed by <br /> over 50~ o the adjacent property owners and tenants for designating a <br /> residential ermit parking zone for the east side of Lawrence Street's 800 block. <br /> C. Notice of the City's intent to establish a residential permit parking <br /> zone was gi en to property owners and tenants within the affected area of the <br /> s proposed zo e . <br /> S <br /> <br /> ~ ~ D. The proposed zone has been reviewed and is found to be in conformity <br /> with the po icies, regulations and criteria set forth in Rule R-5.040. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> Based upon the above findings, and pursuant to the authority contained in <br /> Administrat ve Rule R-5.040, the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene orders <br /> that: <br /> 1. The area described is hereby established as a residential permit <br /> i <br /> parking zon <br /> The east side of Lawrence Street between W. 8th Avenue and W. Bdwy. <br /> <br /> ~ 2. The zone shall be designated Zone "E" and shall allow 2-hour public <br /> <br /> P. <br /> <br /> j parking bet een 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal <br /> <br /> j holidays an except Zone "E" permitted vehicles. <br /> <br /> r <br /> 3. Persons residing in or owning residential property within the zone <br /> designated erein may apply for a Zone "E" permit entitling the holder thereof <br /> to preferen ial long-term parking at Zone "E" signed parking areas within the <br /> <br /> ~ designated one. <br /> <br /> i <br /> 4.
